With great pride and satisfaction, the Union of Arab Banks announces that it has added to the list of books that were issued during the last recent years, an important achievement, which has its place, no doubt, in the banking and economic libraries of the Arab world.
The Union of Arab banks realized that Arab bankers, financial and banking institutions and universities report a high level of need to a trilingual (English, French, and Arabic) dictionary of banking financial and economic terms. This dictionary seeks to unify the economic, banking and financial language among all Arab bankers, in order to attain, in the long-run, a language that is understood and used by all. This dictionary will also make it easier for these countries to communicate amongst themselves and facilitate the achievement of common projects.
The Union of Arab Banks is proud today to make this dictionary available on the official website of the Union of Arab Banks and on App Store.
This great achievement was the result of a thorough work, a lot of research and a high level of precision; and finding the adequate term required the use of a huge number of references and requested over thirty years of full dedication by Dr Uday Kassyour. The dictionary gathers a large number of banking, economic and financial terms, and meets the needs of students, bankers and economists. It also offers them ease of use, efficiency and clarity, which altogether constitute the importance of this valuable work .

بإعتزاز كبير، يضيف إتحاد المصارف العربية إلى لائحة الكتب التي أصدرها طوال السنوات الماضية، عملاً مصرفياً مميزاً وإسماً لامعاً في المكتبات المصرفية والاقتصادية على مستوى عالمنا العربي.
لقد أدرك الاتحاد حاجة المصرفيين العرب والمصارف العربية والمؤسسات المالية والمصرفية العربية والجامعات العربية إلى وجود قاموس للمصطلحات المصرفية والمالية والاقتصادية باللغات الثـلاث الإنكليزيـة والعربيـة والفرنسيـة، نظـراً لـدوره فـي تـوحيد اللغـة المصرفيـة والمالية والاقتصادية بين المصرفيين العرب، وصولاً إلى لغة مصرفية واحدة نتكلمها جميعاً، الأمر الذي يسهل الكثير من الأعمال المشتركة، وعملية التخاطب بيننا.

هذا الإنجاز الذي يتميز بالدقة وبالعدد الهائل من المصطلحات المصرفية التي وضعت بدقة متناهية، والتي اعتمدت مراجع كثيرة لتأكيد صحتها أخذ من العمل والسهر أكثر من ثلاثين عاماً، كرّسها الدكتور عدىّ قصيـور من حياته لإنجاز هـذا العمـل ليلبي حاجة الطالب الجامعي والمصرفي والاقتصادي، ويؤمن لهم السهولة والفعالية والوضوح التي تشكل مجتمعة أهمية هذا الإنجاز العظيم.
